Snow Valley Backpacking / hiking conditioning (5/19/2009)

Itinerary:
If you want to continue to keep in shape for the backpacking/hiking season, come out and climb the ski hills at Snow Valley. We will meet at 6:30 pm, then leave at 6:45 pm. We will start at the parking lot and go for a short walk to warm up before coming back to climb the hills for about 30 minutes. After this we will explore trails in the area for a bit and then finish off back at the ski hill. We could encounter muddy or slippery conditions, so make sure you have good grips on your hiking footwear. This event will go rain or shine.

Wear appropriate clothing
Snacks if you feel you might need it.
Water
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Poles if you need to have some balance on hills.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take the Whitemud Drive East or West (depending on which direction your coming from) Turn South onto 119 st. Then turn west (first right off 119 St).Rainbow Valley Rd. has a sign labeled Whitemud Park. Take this road to the first parking lot after you go under the bridge. This is the start of the event.
