Itinerary:
Ever wonder if those dehydrateed meals that you see in the camping store were any good or if there were a better alternative? Bring your back-packing or camping stove and lets find out. If you are food shopping, this is a good time to compare
We'll need at least 4 volunteers to cook their fav back country meal, please note that on your registration. I'll talk with the directors about getting your costs reimbursed or we can take a collection at the event. I'll be donating my fav.

We will meet in the parking lot at the Fox Drive Stairs 6:30 p.m. for registration and leave at 6:45 p.m. for a short hike over the White mud pathways, but NOT that usual boring route. Let's take a game trail or two and find a little elevation gain to warm up the blood.

THEN...Let the games begin Bring your stove and/or your tarp and ropes plus your fav one pot meal.

There will be two competitions..
1. Heart of my tarp I love those memor....okay so I'm punny not funny. Points awarded for simplicity; quickness in set-up and tear-down; sturdiness and wind and water worthiness. The judges decision will be final and all prizes are to be accepted as awarded.(which means..none)
2. A straight- "I love you for your cookin'" -Taste test by the audience. Bring a spoon if you plan on taste testing.
I'll try to remember to bring cupcake papers like you get at Costco, if not we might all be eating from the same pot.
If you are not competing, OR even if you are, bring some tea or hot chocolate for a sit down and hash over the competitions while enjoying a nice cuppa. We'll have extra water to boil.
May the best tarper and cooker win Next week-- Transin-Tent-meditation and tent erecting competition and evaluation AND Round two of Tastiest one pot meal competition -bring your spoons for samples and another week "C'mom baby light my fire" you won't want to miss that.
