Itinerary:

Please note that this will be a moderate paced hike.

We will start out at the Royal Glenora Club at 11:00am sharp, go through Victoria Park, cross the river at Groat Road, pass Emily Murphy & Kinsmen Parks. We will then cross the Walterdale Bridge & head back towards the parking lot.

This urban hike will be about 6km only so those who are going to the 'From Polar Bears to Penguins' event at 1pm will still be able to do so.

We'll be meeting in the gravel parking lot on the east side of the Royal Glenora Club. Those stairs are a favorite among stair climbers because they are challenging, wide & offer a great view of the river valley. We will only be doing these once in the beginning. After we return to the parking lot if you want extra exercise, you can go up & down the stairs as many times as you want!
