Itinerary:
Beat the mid-week winter blues with some ice skating! Victoria Park is part of Edmonton's group of River Valley parks, which is amongst the largest areas of parkland in North America today. The skating rink is very large and free! This is also the practice area of the Edmonton Speed Skating club so might get a chance to check out their prowess as we skate. There are washrooms, a heated Skate Change Area and music. We will meet inside the Skate Change Area at 7:00 sharp! Please note that rentals are not available at this particular skating rink, but Sport and Ski Rentals has two convenient locations (6430 104 Street NW and 15802 Stony Plain Road NW; 780-435-7547) where you can rent skates and other winter gear.
