Please note that this will be a moderate paced walk. The difficulty rating is easy to moderate (meaning the distance & terrain).

The meeting time is 11:00am and we will be leaving at 11:15am sharp.

Terwillegar Park is a sweet slice of nature in the concrete jungle. The park is a favourite of dog owners as it is an off-leash park (so BYOD). There are trails winding through the entire park on the Southside of the North Saskatchewan River.

Some trails in the park are wide and well trodden. Others are more narrow and uneven. Parts of the hike will require some up and downhill as well. But it's well worth it to reach some of the scenic points of the park overlooking the river.

I will be waiting at the park sign at the western end of the parking lot.

After we can go to Boston Pizza for beverages and a bite to eat.

- Take the Terwillegar exit off Whitemud and head south.
- Turn right at Rabbit Hill Road and keep going till the road turns to a gravel road and goes downhill.
- The parking lot is at the bottom of the hill.
