Itinerary:
We will head off to the mountains with Downhill Riders on a pre -Christmas getaway!

There is a nice mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced level runs at Kicking Horse Mountain. However, I've heard a few rumours that some of the runs are pretty challenging and that there is some pretty intense vertical on some of the black runs. Please note that I have never been to this mountain and so cannot assess whether or not this is true. I've also heard that they get great snow and that it's pretty fantastic skiing. Check out the ski map for yourself in the Mountain section of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.

We will stay at the Sportsman Lodge in Golden, where accommodation options are either quad, triple, double or twin occupancy. You choose who will stay with you in your room, determine which type of occupancy that makes and pay the associated price of that type of room. Quad is 2 beds for 4 people, triple is 2 beds for 3 people, double is 1 bed for 2 people and twin is 2 beds for 2 people. It's up to you! If you would like to come on your own, we will assign a partner for you for the twin occupancy option.

If you sign up for a quad, triple or double, you must let me know who your roomies are and all must pay by the deadline or your room will be cancelled and all four, three or two of you are out of luck.

Prices per person are as follows:

Quad occupancy: $272
Triple occupancy: $294
Double occupancy: $316
Twin occupancy: $327

These are great prices for what you get - transportation, lodging for Friday and Saturday night and lift tickets for Saturday and Sunday! (see details below)

A couple of lunches so you don't have to pay hill prices

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Bus will take us there! We depart the carpool location at 6:00 pm sharp and arrive in Golden at 12:30 am. Notes:
If you need a ride to the bus pickup location, I will poll the group and see if anyone is available.
