Itinerary:
Join me on Mothers Day for a nice hike at Islet Lake. My favourite of the Blackfoot series.

We will begin at the Islet Lake stating area and hike to the lost lake shelter where we will have lunch--don't forget to bring one! Once we are finished lunch we will continue back with a view of the lake.

This hike has a variety of undulating hills. If you are planning backpacking trips this summer this would be a good hike to check both your endurance and hiking with a back country pack.

Just a note, the trail may still have water on parts due to the late spring, make sure your hiking boots have been water proofed and you bring your gaiters.

Required Items to Bring:

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Depending on where you are coming from in Edmonton you will want to travel east to Sherwood Park and travel on Wye Road.
Continue east on Wye road and turn left on to rang road 200, follow the gravel road north to the staging area.

Notes:
There will be no car pool arranged for this hike as I will already be east of Sherwood Park. If you require a ride please email me and I will do my best to help you.
