Itinerary:
Terwillegar park is a favorite among dog owners, but is no less fun for those without dogs. It's one of the city's largest parks, and boasts wooded areas, river front scenery and miles of trails. So come join us for a relaxing through my favorite local park.

The hike includes some uphills and downhills. The trail conditions could be anything from snow and ice to mud and some gravel. Waterproof, footwear is advised. There may also be some bushwacking involved, so don't bring your best coat. This is an off leash park, but bring bags to scoop up your animal's droppings.

Some people find it difficult to find the park. Please allow yourself enough time to find it and keep my phone number with you.

Required Items to Bring:
Weather-appropriate clothing (toques, gloves, etc.), appropriate footwear, bags for your pet's droppings
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
water
dog
snacks

How to Get There:
Event Directions:The park is located at the very west end of Rabbit Hill Road. Take Whitemud to Terwillegar Drive south. Then turn right off of Rabbit Hill Road. After the pavement ends, there is a steep hill. The parking lot is at the bottom of the hill. (B on the map below)
