In the morning we’ll work together to improve wildlife movement in Alberta’s mixwood boreal forest by removing unneeded sections of cross-fencing from NCC’s Busenius property. Then, in the afternoon, Justina (an Edmonton Artist) will lead a hands-on nature journaling workshop where you will have a chance to slow down, take some time out in nature, and see the forest through a new set of eyes.

Please note: No toilets on site
Event will take place rain or shine.

Required Items to Bring:
- Weather appropriate clothing (rain jacket just in case)
- Long sleeved shirt & long pants (to protect against wire)
- Comfortable, supportive closed-toed shoes or boots
- Supplies for nature journaling (sketchbook, drawing pen, watercolour paints, and paintbrush)
- Lunch/ snacks
- Reusable water bottle
