Itinerary:
I have booked up to 3 Tee Pees for 12 people.I must eanough to fill the teepees with four folks to move forward.
Each Tee Pee has 2 single, above ground canvas cots, and one double bed that will be shared. Total for event is 12. There are full amenities near site and our group site comes with picnic tables and fire pits Showers cost $1/per 5 minutes. Firewood also available.

Saturday will include a minimum 1/2 day visit to the Royal Tyrell Museum in the morning. The group can look at the following options for the rest of the weekend that can include: The Hoodoos , Suspension Bridge, Atlas Coal Mine Museum (National Historic Site),the Little Church, 7-Bridges and Horse Thief or Horseshoe canyon. We may be able to break into smaller groups to accommodate interests.

There will be a MANDATORY MEETING ON Thursday June 2nd, 6:45 pm to discuss what activities the group is interested in. Location TBA

Required Items to Bring:
-Sleeping bag and pillow. Extra blankets as needed
-Hiking boots and suitable clothing(waterproof)
- Food/beverages and a cooler for storage.***All food for the weekend is the responsibility of each person. We can discuss a potluck option for Sat. night if the group is interested

- water bottle, sunscreen, wide brimmed hat
- towel, bathing suit(if you want to swim at rec centre), Sun Glasses

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Follow Highway 2 towards Calgary and take the Drumheller turnoff. Maps provided at June Meeting.

Carpool Cost: The event coordinator(s) will help you to arrange a centralized carpool if you require it, but it's not guaranteed. Please DO NOT pay your driver en route. Passengers will pay the coordinator, and he/she will distribute the money to the carpool drivers. SO PLEASE BRING CASH!!! Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $188.50 (calculated at total Km * $0.29, effective Sunday, April 28, 2024). This is based on $0.09/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divided by 9. This cost will be multiplied by the number of carpooled cars, and divided by the number of carpool participants.

Cost Includes:-2 nights accommodations in shared Tee Pees - Other costs for admissions to attractions will be paid directly by participant eg. Tyrell Museum is $18.00

To register for this event you must first add yourself to the wait list. Once you have made your payment directly to the event coordinator your name will be moved to the registration list.
Please pay to: lynn.ferguson2@edmonton.ca by e- transfer. First to pay, first to play. No refunds for cancellations after the cut of date, unless the spot can be filled. A $1.50 service fee will be applied to any refunds to cover fee.
