Itinerary:
We meet on the main trail west of the foot bridge linking Hawrelak Park to Buena Vista Park that way you can either drive & park at Hawrelak Park picnic site number 2 or Buena Vista Park & then walk to the meet up point. I will park at Hawrelak Park so if you park at Buena Vista Park call me at 780 299 7394 BEFORE you start walking to plan our meeting on the trail. Then we walk some more. There are several different directions that we can take from there.

Required Items to Bring:
Proper clothing for the weather including boots, mitts, hat & winter coat. A light source. You must be wearing boots with good grip. If you are wearing sneakers or street shoes or any other shoe that I consider unsafe for the conditions you will not be walking with us. There will be snow ice & hills.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
A hiking pole makes it less likely that you will fall when you slip. Traction help like microspikes would REALLY help on the hills & slippery bits.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Park at either Buena Vista Park or Hawrelak Park picnic site number two. Then walk towards the bridge. Call Michel at 780 299 7394 to confirm that you are "out there" to plan our meeting spot or for instructions on which way to walk (it's easy).
