Itinerary:
We will meet in front of the Kinsmen Centre at 7 PM and leave promptly by 7:10. First we will follow the paved trails and some gravel trails west along the river until we reach Emily Murphy Park. We will then follow a paved trail alongside Saskatchewan Drive, until we reach 110th Street. Walking south along 110th Street until we reach Whyte (82) Avenue, we will continue east until we reach O'Byrnes Irish Pub, near 106 Street.

We will take a pause in our hiking itinerary at O'Byrnes. Every Tuesday night, O'Byrnes hosts a live Celtic music jam, in which local musicians play traditional Irish music. After pausing at O'Byrnes for approximately 45 minutes, we will continue on our way. We will follow 106 Street back to Saskatchewan Drive, and then follow the Walterdale Hill back down to the Kinsmen Centre and our cars.

In total, our hike will be approximately 7.5 km in length, and the majority of this (5.5 km) we will complete prior to reaching the pub. We will be keeping a moderate pace, and for the most part will be hiking along paved trails. Please be aware that with the onset of wintery weather, there may be slippery sections. We may encounter muddy, wet or snowy conditions, so please dress appropriately.
