Itinerary:
A slow-paced early season ride on the flat bike paths on the north end of Edmonton. Not nearly as lovely as a Lovely River Valley Ride, but there will be less (no?) hills and less thawing dog poop. There, I said it. We're going to do a less-than-lovely bike ride to avoid dog poop. It's spring in Edmonton, folks!

We will depart the Castle Downs Spray Park at 1:30, heading east. Turn north on Castle Downs Road, following the path as the road curves to the east and becomes 167 Ave. We'll follow the path to its end at 50th St and head south briefly along 50th St. We'll turn right to follow the shared path returning to the west. At 82 St we'll turn right to take the path north back to 167 Ave and retrace our route back to the Spray Park. Total distance will be a little shy of 20km.

Your coordinators have not done this ride before. Have map will travel (and avoid dog poop)! If you're familiar with the route and have suggestions, we're all ears.
