Itinerary:
We will meet in Parking Lot D beside the Terwillegar Recreation Centre (see directions below) and walk a loop along the multi-use path towards the east and then work our way to Tim Hortons and Twisted Yogurt at 23 Ave and Rabbit Hill Rd for a little break, then continue back to the cars.

I'll be waiting there with my yellow EOC hat on.

We will meet at 11 AM and leave sharp at 11:10 AM.

On March 10, the multi-use path was mostly clear, with some icy and wet spots. The sidewalk portion of the walk has more water and ice on it, but some of this will be gone by Saturday. We will walk slowly in the slippery sections and detour as needed.

Required Items to Bring:
appropriate clothing for weather conditions
trail shoes/boots with a good grip
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Water and/or a snack
Money for refreshments (optional)
ice cleats (optional)

How to Get There:
Event Directions: From 23 Av just east of Terwillegar Drive, go north on Leger Rd. It curves to the left, heading west. Go 0.5 km to the second parking lot on your left. This is lot "D" as you can see from the signs inside the parking lot. This lot is usually empty during the week but there may be more cars on the weekend. This is the parking lot closest to Terwillegar Drive and one can see the foot-bridge over Terwillegar Drive from the parking lot. I will be parked at the north end of that parking lot with my blue Hyundai car.

Notes:
There are other activities you can do while you are at the recreation centre, but these are up to you to manage. If you would like to go for a swim, or use the track or exercise equipment, you need to go to the desk at the east entrance near the pool to get a day pass.
