Itinerary:
Meet at 12:00 midday for a 12:10 start at the parking lot in Terwillegar Park, at the western end of Rabbit Hill Road.
I will be standing by a grey Hyundai wagon, and wearing my yellow EOC cap, so you can recognize me.

Please keep an eye on the weather forecast and your emails, in case conditions end up being worse than currently forecast.

Also, ice grips / traction devices for your footwear are very strongly recommended, as it will be slippery underfoot in parts

There are trails winding through the entire park on the Southside of the North Saskatchewan River. Some trails in the park are wide and well trodden. Others are more narrow and uneven. Parts of the hike will require some up and downhill as well. But it's well worth it to reach some of the scenic points of the park overlooking the river.

We will head towards but not all the way to the Anthony Henday Drive overpass which is located south of the park.
We will walk for up to 2 hours max. There are only a small number of short steeper sections, but overall the gradients are very moderate.
Also, we will be doing 5km/h max, not quite "speed demon" pace but not dawdling either!
Dogs are very welcome on this hike - dog owners, please remember to include your dogs on the registration.
