I'm planning on doing weekly Sunday urban hikes. There might be weeks where I may end up switching it to a Saturday though - it'll be before registration opens though or if inclement weather conditions.

My plan is to hike the entire river valley from NE Edmonton all the way to the SW over about a 12 week period. There will also be some weeks where we won't be along the river valley but along creeks within the city.

Please note that we will meetup at 10:30am & leave at 10:40am sharp!

This will be a MODERATE PACED hike with only a few stops along the way.

We will meet in the parking lot along Rainbow Valley Road - just off of Whitemud Drive & 119th/122nd Street.

My plan is to go through both Whitemud Parks - South and North which is about 14km in length. We will start off heading south then backtrack, head north past the parking lot towards Fox Drive, then head back to the parking lot.

To find me, please look at my Profile picture and I'll be driving a silver Toyota Rav4. I will also be wearing a yellow EOC baseball cap.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Take the Whitemud Drive East or West (depending on which direction your coming from).
Turn South onto 119/122 St. Then turn west (first right off 119/122 St).
Rainbow Valley Rd. has a sign labeled Whitemud Park. Take this road to the first parking lot on your left. This is the start of the event.
