This movie is rated R for language and some nudity.

Note that there will be no advance tickets arranged for you by the EOC. You will get your own ticket. This event is subject to ticket availability that night, and last minute theatre schedule changes. We are catching the 6:45 show but I put 6:15 as the event start as I recommend going early to get tickets.

From Tribute.ca:

Freshly graduated from college with a promising future ahead, 22-year-old top student and athlete Christopher McCandless (Emile Hirsh) abandoned his possessions, gave his entire $24,000 savings account to charity and walked out of his privileged life and into the wild in search of adventure. What happened to him on the way transformed this young wanderer into an enduring symbol for countless people.

Was Christopher McCandless a heroic adventurer or a naïve idealist, a rebellious 1990s Thoreau or another lost American son, a fearless risk-taker or a tragic figure who wrestled with the precarious balance between man and nature?

Based on a true story and the bestselling book by Jon Krakauer.
