Itinerary:
Fall is here and winter isn't far behind so let's enjoy the outdoors before snowshoeing begins! Terwillegar is a largely undeveloped park in the river valley that offers lots of biking and hiking trails, and is one of the largest off leash areas for dogs in the city. We will also take this opportunity to hide the first geocache for the EOC! For those familiar with geocaches, you may bring a small trinket for the cache. Our cache is fairly small so we won't be able to put too many items in it.

For those not familiar with geocaching, please visit Geocaching.com for more information. It is a worldwide hobby where people hide boxes of trinkets and post their GPS coordinates for others to find. It's treasure hunting by GPS!

The hike will involve some gravel trails, some uneven rooty/ rocky paths and some uphills and downhills. This is an off leash park, but please bring bags to scoop up your animal's droppings.

Pack a lunch! We can eat it during the hike!

Some people find it difficult to find the park. Please allow yourself enough time to find it and keep our phone numbers with you.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:The park is located at the very west end of Rabbit Hill road, off Terwillegar Drive. For those coming from Whitemud Drive, take the Terwillegar exit, turn right at Rabbit Hill Road and go all the way to the end. It will turn into a gravel hill. At the bottom of the hill will be the park's parking lot.
