Itinerary:
There are some great mountain biking trails within the heart of the city. We will start at the UofA and bike along the river valley, across the river and back in a loop. Afterwards, we can have a drink/snack/lunch/gelato at the Sugarbowl or Da Capo.

Please note that there is very limited free parking in the UofA campus area. There will be paid parking available on various campus lots, some of which will be cheaper on the weekend.

Difficulty: I have put this as 'moderate to difficult' as it is highly dependent on conditions that day and personal experience. It'll be a tough ride for those used to pavement, but super easy for those used to more hardcore riding. We will be in forested trails OFF-ROAD for most of the ride, but will not do any dangerous drops. Trails will have roots, rocks, and mud as conditions dictate. There will be some uphill and downhill. If a section is too hard for you, please feel free to walk it. We will wait for you.
