Itinerary:
This hike was originally due to start from the Muttart Conservatory. However, I was advised that it would likely be very busy around that area due to the Folk Festival, and that parking at the Muttart Conservatory would be very difficult or even impossible.

So, I have decided to change the start point to Dawson Park (10298 89 Street), but we will still do the same "circuit".
We'll cross Dawson Bridge, head up the hill (Rowland Road), cross over into Forest Heights Park, down into Cloverdale, cross Cloverdale Bridge, then head through Riverdale and return to Dawson Park.

As it may take a bit longer for folks to get to Dawson Park, I will move the meeting time from 6:15pm to 6:25pm.
I will be standing by a grey Hyundai wagon and wearing a yellow EOC cap so you can recognise me.

Difficulty: The pace will be "moderate / brisk" - around 5km/h - and we will have a bit of a steady climb after crossing the Dawson Bridge, either on the trail behind the Riverside Golf Course (depending on trail closures in the area) or up Rowland Road. There will be some exercise involved! :-)

Dogs are very welcome on this hike, if you are bringing your dog(s) please note this when you sign up.
