Itinerary:
Meet at the Muttart conservatory for this “Good-bye to summer, hello to fall” river valley bike ride. The bike ride will be at a moderate pace with occasional rest stops. The ride will be 80% paved trails with the remaining being on groomed dirt trails. We will be passing through such parks as Gold Bar Park, Rundle Park, and Hermitage Park with the return loop on the opposite side of the river. There are two major ups I affectionately refer to as “puke hill” and since you go up, you must inevitably come down so there are two major downs; make sure your bike is tuned and the brakes work well.
