Itinerary:
We will meet in the parking lot of Emily Murphy Park, near the base of Groat Bridge at 7:00 pm for registration. We will ride counterclockwise, across the Groat Bridge, up MacKinnon ravine, through Valleyview and the Zoo to the Quesnell Bridge, then past the Equine center, up the hill, along Saskatchewan Drive and down the hill to Emily Murphy Park. I cannot ride full blast up the river valley hills, so this will be a gentle evening ride for most people. We can take to the dirt trails if people wish, but this will largely be on paved trails, or city roads. Helmets are mandatory, as is a bell for your bike. It is a city law that all bikes using roads be equipped with a bell. As the trails get quite slippery during rain, this event is weather dependent and will be cancelled if it is raining. Rain earlier in the day will not be a reason to cancel, we will just ride around the puddles!

Required Items to Bring:
- A bike in good working order
- Helmet
- Water
- Weather approprite clothing, layers are best
- Bike Bell
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:To get to Emily Murphy Park take Groat Road and follow the signs to the Parks areas. You will be turning uphill as if to enter the university grounds, and the park turn is part way up the hill. Follow the road to the T intersection, turn left and through the parking lot until you turn near the base of Groat Bridge. Donna drives a silver Dodge Caravan.
