Itinerary:
Join me at Campers' Village's Kayak 101 event.

Interested in kayaking? Whether you’re a novice or avid kayaker, Kayaking 101 will give you the tips and tricks you need to prepare for your next paddle adventure. Learn everything from how to pick the right kayak, how to pack it, and what to pack to water safety including float plans, route descriptions, emergency contact lists and weather considerations. This seminar will also cover hydration, wildlife awareness, low impact camping and emergency repair kits. You will leave Kayaking 101 not only feeling prepared, but excited for your first paddle.

Attendees will have a chance to enter to win a pair of men's or women's Columbia Drainmakers.

We'll meet at the west-end location of Campers' Village at 7:00 PM. To help you identify me, I'll be wearing the yellow EOC ball cap and you can check out my photo on the volunteer page.
