Itinerary:
There are some great mountain biking trails within the heart of the city. We will start at the UofA and bike along the river valley, across the river and back in a loop. Afterwards, we can have a drink/snack at the Sugarbowl or Da Capo.

Please note that there is very limited free parking in the UofA campus area. There will be paid parking available on various campus lots, some of which will be cheaper at night.

Difficulty: I have put this as 'moderate' as it is highly dependent on conditions that day and personal experience. It'll be a tough ride for those used to pavement, but super easy for those used to more hardcore riding. We will be in forested trails OFF-ROAD for most of the ride, but will not do any dangerous drops.

As part of our ride will be on city roads, a bell on your bike is required by law.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Gloves, elbow/knee protection as desired.

First aid pack

Bugspray! (there will be LOTS of mosquitos)

Sunscreen
