September 30, 2012 is the City of Edmonton's annual Free Admission Day.

Join me at Red Panda-Monium at the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Free Admisssion Day is the perfect opportunity to visit this beautiful city attraction and, as a bonus, we'll get to help celebrate International Red Panda Day.

Come “Get Closer” and witness amazing animal enrichments as we provide stimulating surprises to a selection of animals. Peter and Mary will greet you at the front entrance with some amazing live music, and then stop by the International Red Panda Day booth to join us in raising awareness and celebrating the uniqueness of red pandas. As you stroll through the Zoo, be sure to stop by for a caricature, listen to educational animal talks, see Fleasha and her one of a kind Flea Olympics, or make a neat take home International Red Panda Day craft. Be sure to try Painting Like Lucy, ride a zipline on the Adventure Bus, or take the pledge at the One Day a Week Pledge Board! There will also be amazing animal encounters, face painting, sidewalk chalk art, and a variety of other surprises throughout the day. What an incredible way to spend a day. And it’s free!

Please bring a donation for the Edmonton Food Bank.
