Itinerary:

Potluck - held east of the Shaw Conference Center in Riverdale (address to be given later) - we will be inside & no BBQ available - sorry! There is a microwave though.
I will be supplying some dessert - sundaes with loads of toppings!

Hike - we will do an easy paced hike for about 1-1.5 hours after the potluck. We'll head through the river path in Riverdale, cross the Dawson Bridge, hike on the south side of the river heading west through Cloverdale, cross the footbridge then find a spot to watch the fireworks in Louise McKinney Park. If the waterfalls over High Level Bridge happens to be functioning, then our hike will be going west to the Walterdale Bridge for some good photo opportunities & looping around back to Cloverdale footbridge. I will know which route we'll take closer to the date.
(If it's raining we won't go hiking, instead we'll play board games inside until 10:30pm then head over to watch the fireworks.)

Fireworks (they start at 11pm) - after our hike/board games, we will get setup to watch the fireworks in Louise McKinney Park (just a 10 min walk west of the potluck location - there's a viewpoint for more photo opportunities).

Please note that I will supply paper plates, plastic cutlery, paper cups, & napkins.
