Let's Celebrate Summer with a BBQ and Potluck! (8/25/2012)

PRE-REGISTRATION & PAYMENT REQUIRED: Once you've reviewed the event details, and decided you'd like to join us, you MUST sign up at the bottom of this page. You will then make your payment for this event at the venue, NOT in advance to the EOC.

You are STRONGLY encouraged to read this page in its entirety before signing up. If you'd like to attend, we ask that you abide by our rules and procedures as a time/cost saving process (with an end result of keeping membership free and lower cost events).

Itinerary:

Come join the EOC at Coronation Park Picnic Shelter #1 for our annual BBQ and potluck plus some games to help celebrate the summer season!

You will receive two hot dogs (meat or veggie) with a bun and condiments plus juice. Please bring an appetizer, a salad, or a dessert for the potluck.

*** When you register, PLEASE indicate in the "Notes" section if you would like MEAT or VEGGIE hot dogs. If we don't hear from you by August 24th, you will get MEAT hot dogs.***

Once we're done the BBQ portion of the event, we will play some games (e.g. frisbee and/or aerobie, bocce ball, etc.). Please feel free to bring games for the group to enjoy.

Required Items to Bring:
- Potluck item - appetizer/salad/dessert
- Please minimize waste by bringing your own reusable plate/bowl, cup, and utensils
- Weather appropriate clothing
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
- Small BBQ with propane (you will be reimbursed for the cost of the propane used to cook the hot dogs)
- Outdoor games/equipment
- Camera

Event Directions:Call/e-mail us if you're unsure how to get to the Picnic Shelter #1 (on the north side of the Telus World of Science).

The Telus World of Science (formerly Odyssium) is located at 11211, 142 Street. It is near the Westmount bus terminal.
