Itinerary:

Meet at 10:30am, for a 10:45am departure.

The meeting place is the parking lot at Government House Park, located at the NW end of Groat Bridge - please read the directions below carefully.
(Please note that this is not the same location as Government House itself, and the directions below are the only way to drive to the start point).

We will start by crossing Groat Bridge, and then follow the riverside trail around Mayfair Golf Course and Hawlerak Park.

Continue by crossing the Buena Vista Footbridge, and continue north towards Riverside Drive and Summit Drive.

At 142 Street, we will enter the MacKinnon Ravine and continue east back to the start point.

For a bit of variety, we will also do a brief diversion off MacKinnon Ravine - Ramsey Ravine leads off to the north and continues under 102 Avenue into the Glenora area.
It is not a long detour, but it is quite a pretty ravine and worth a look.

This is a "dog friendly" hike - ie. dogs are permitted on this one.
Dog owners - if you are bringing your dog(s), when you are registering, please include them, so that they also appear on the publicly-viewable list of attendees.

To recognise me at the starting point, I will be wearing a yellow EOC cap.
