Itinerary:

A few weeks back, three of us attended an EOC event at the Kinsmen Pitch and Putt.

Despite the low number of sign-ups, it was great fun, and a good way to pass a couple of hours!

The course is a bit of a hidden gem, quite picturesque and not too difficult (none of the holes are over 100 metres in length).

Therefore, I have decided to arrange a return visit, before the course closes for the year in early October.

We will meet at the Kinsmen Pitch and Putt at 11:00am, for a 11:15 start.

The cost is $16 for 9 holes and $20 for 18 holes. I would suggest that we play 18 holes, although anyone who just wishes to play 9 holes can do so, if they so wish.

You are welcome to bring your own clubs and/or golf balls if you have them.

If you do not have these items, club rental is $3 per club, and it would probably only be necessary to use an iron and a putter, so 2 clubs = an additional $6 for club rental.

Golf balls are an additional $2 each (you get to keep the golf balls, but not any rental clubs!)

None of the holes are longer than 100 metres, so I don't think that anyone will need a driver!

We will split into smaller groups (3 or 4 persons) to play, and as a courtesy to other course users, we will let even smaller groups “pass through”
(after all, we don’t want the EOC to bring the course to a halt!)

To recognise me at the meeting place, I will be wearing a yellow EOC cap.

Please note that the event will be postponed in the event of thunderstorms / heavy rain.
