The snow is melting and we've got plenty of evening light - perfect for a walk. We'll start at Kinsmen Park and walk some of the surrounding trails. We'll stick to the paved paths and try to avoid the mud, but there may be some ice on the trails.

Meet in the northeast corner of the Kinsmen Sports Centre parking lot.

Afterward, if people are interested, we may head to Whyte Ave for a drink.

Required Items to Bring:
Water
appropriate clothing for weather conditions
sneakers, trail shoes or hiking boots
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Money if we go to Whyte for a beverage after the hike

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Kinsmen park is located on the south side of the river, just east of 109 St. To get there, drive down Walterdale Hill and turn left into the Kinsmen parking lot just before the bridge, or drive down Queen Elizabeth Park road and continue straight into the Kinsmen parking lot. See map.

Meet at the northeast corner of the Kinsmen parking lot. See my picture in the volunteer section.
