Itinerary:
The pace of this hike will be moderate, and there will be a few stops along the way so that we can get regrouped. We will be meeting at 6:45 and departing at 7:00PM SHARP.

Join me on an urban hike through portions of Old Strathcona and the river valley.

We will meet outside of the Second Cup at the corner of Whyte Ave. and 104 St. (Gateway Blvd). We will follow 104 St. north to Saskatchewan Drive, then take the stairs at 105 St. into Queen Elizabeth Park. We will then continue east through the river valley to the Muttart Conservatory. From the Muttart Conservatory, we will walk south through the Mill Creek Ravine until we reach 76th Avenue. Exiting the ravine at 76th Ave., we will follow 76th Ave. to 99th St., walk north along 99th St. to Whyte Ave., then continue west along Whyte Ave. back to our starting point. I have provided a customized map below of the approximate route that we will follow.

The total distance for this hike is roughly 8-9 km.

Afterwards, join me at O'Byrnes Irish Pub on Whyte Avenue (10616 82 Ave.), where we will listen to the weekly Celtic music jam session.
