Edmonton River Valley Cleanup (5/1/2011)

Itinerary:
We all see it - that disgusting litter that builds up beside the paths and trails that we walk on. On May 1st, we will take part in a public River Valley Cleanup organized by the City of Edmonton, where we will help to remove litter.

Please make sure that you bring sturdy footwear that you don't mind getting dirty (rubber boots might be a good idea, as it may be mucky). The city will provide us with garbage bags, and may provide us with extra gloves.

NOTES:
  • In case you are running late, please try to bring a cell-phone so I can tell you where we are.
  • If you would like to bring your child to the event (under 18 years of age) & would like to have them sign up as part of the EOC group, please e-mail me in advance.

    • Required Items to Bring:
    Weather-appropriate clothing
    Gloves (rubber, latex or work gloves)    		Recommended Items to Bring:
    Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
    Water
    Spare gloves
    Travel mug, for complimentary coffee
    Money for celebratory refreshments afterwards

    How to Get There:
    Event Directions:Victoria Park is located at 12130 River Valley Road. We will meet near the washrooms (located near the main parking lot). I will be wearing a yellow ballcap with the EOC logo on it.
