Itinerary:
Snow conditions are currently excellent for snowshoeing, so we will hit Terwillegar Park for some morning fun. This is an off-leash park, so feel free to bring your dog if he/she is good with other dogs.

Also, the parking lot has finally been upgraded, so no more parking along the hill!

Some people find it difficult to find their way to Terwillegar Park. Please make sure you allow yourself enough time to get here, and keep my phone number with you in case you get lost.

Required Items to Bring:
Water
Weather-appropriate clothing (toques, gloves, etc., and dress in synthetic layers)
Snowshoes and boots are required and hiking poles are strongly recommended
Participants must provide their own equipment - snowshoes can be rented at MEC or Totem
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Dog
Snack
Camera
Sunglasses
Hot chocolate

How to Get There:
Event Directions:The park is located at the very west end of Rabbit Hill road, off Terwillegar Drive. For those coming from Whitemud Drive, take the Terwillegar exit, turn right at Rabbit Hill Road and go all the way to the end. It will turn into a gravel hill. At the bottom of the hill will be the park's parking lot. We will meet at the northwestern end of the parking lot. I have a white husky type dog and I will be wearing a white plaid ski jacket.
