Itinerary:

**Please note that your coordinator hasn't completed the full loop of this hike before - please be patient!**

The pace will be moderate with a couple of stops along the way so that we can get regrouped & have a few snacks.

We will be meeting in Hawrelak Park at PICNIC SITE #2 on the south end of the park by the footbridge for this hike and leave at 10:15am sharp!

Last Saturday, we did half of the south side of the river valley towards the Quesnell Bridge but due to the downpour of rain, we turned back & never attempted the shuttle bus portion of this trip (to get across the construction) to Fort Edmonton then loop back on the north side of the river.

This week, we will start the hike by crossing over the foot bridge to the north side of the river this time. Then we will follow the river path west towards Fort Edmonton through Buena Vista & Laurier Parks where we will try to catch the shuttle bus across the Quesnell Bridge to Fort Edmonton. We will then go on the south side of the river back the Hawrelak Park. Once we arrive back at Hawrelak Park, we will do a loop around the park to finish off. This should be about 10km round trip altogether.
