Itinerary:

Come and join us for a nice urban hike in Kinsmen park and try to find hidden treasure in the woods. We will use a GPS unit to find 4 or 5 geocaches hidden in the area. We will also learn how to use a compass for finding our location, geocaching and hunting hidden treasures (like a true pirate!).

We will meet at 6:15PM at Kinsmen Park (on the west side of the tennis courts). We will start the event at 6:30pm by a short introduction on how to use a compass and then we start to geocache hunt.

For info on just what exactly a geocache is, see geocaching.com. Time permitting, we will try to find the following geocaches:

Mazama Ash (GCZDAF) N 53° 31.765 W 113° 30.802
Muchias- (GC1G18V) N 53° 31.754 W 113° 30.437
Jade's Jewelry (GC1TW5C) N 53° 31.404 W 113° 30.172
Come out and play! (GCQPZY) N 53° 31.539 W 113° 29.729
Walterdale Bridge Cache (GC1FYCA) N 53° 31.776 W 113° 30.096
