Itinerary:

Come out and enjoy the spring thaw with me on a lunchtime walk!

We will depart from the Shaw Conference Centre at 12:15. Please be on time as we don't want anyone to be back to work late. We'll head down the stairs in the conference centre and walk through the Chinese Gardens at Louise McKinney park. We will then cross the river footbridge to Cloverdale Park and head west toward the Low Level Bridge. A long stair climb awaits us as we finish off the walk at Hotel Macdonald. Estimated distance is 2.5 km.

We will maintain a moderate pace to enjoy the fresh air while being mindful that most everyone is on a schedule and will need to be back at work by 1:00.

This event will be cancelled if it is exceptionally cold and/or windy.

Required Items to Bring:
Proper footwear for conditions. As we'll be walking through forested areas, some slush and ice is expected.
