Itinerary:
I have a short break for lunch and want to get out for a walk. Please join me!

We will depart promptly at 12:05 (or as soon as I get there). Please be on time as I (and hopefully you) need to get back to work, but don't be alarmed if I'm not there "early" - I'll be leaving my office at noon to race over to the meeting spot myself.

Meet in the central spot of Railtown Park just west of the green arch at 102 Ave and 110 St (access off 109 St). We will walk south through Railtown Park, across Jasper, and turn right when we reach 100th - staying on the south side of 100th. We'll walk partway down the Victoria Park Road hill until we get to the spot where the stairs intersect the road. We'll take the stairs down to the left, then turn around and come right back up - climbing all the stairs, and continuing over Victoria Park Road to finish the stairs which will take us to Victoria Promenade. OPTION: If that is more stairs than you want to do, you can head straight up the stairs from the road when the rest of the group goes left, and join us at the top on Victoria Promenade. We'll continue west on Victoria Promenade, up to 102 Ave and then east to return to our starting point at Railtown Park. Estimated completion time is 12:55. Estimated distance is 2.5-3.0km at a moderate pace.

My main goal is to get out... I'm not a speed walker. If exercise happens, it happens, but it's not my main goal. If you want to go fast-fast-fast, you're welcome to sign up, and we may split into two groups if necessary.

This event will be cancelled if it is exceptionally cold and/or windy.
