Itinerary:
We will meet up at 10:00 AM and leave on our walk at 10:15 AM sharp. We will be meeting at Hawrelak Park picnic shelter no.1 for this hike. We will walk along the river trail across the foot bridge into Laurier Park. We will walk up McKenzie Ravine to 142nd Street. We will continue along 142nd Street till it meets up with McKinnon Ravine. We will walk down the ravine and walk along the river to the Groat Road Bridge. We will cross the bridge walking through Hawrelak Park and back to our starting point. Afterwards we can head to Friends & Neighbours on Whyte for brunch.

Round trip about 6 km; a pleasant Saturday stroll.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:I will be in a black VW Golf. Shelter no.1 is the first picnic shelter you see on your right after driving past the large main parking lot. It is in the northwest corner of the park.
