Itinerary:

Gold Bar is the best kept x-c ski location in the city. This event is for experienced skiers only. You MUST be able to snow plow and herringbone efficiently. Both the advanced and intermediate trails have hills. The complete loop is approximately 9.5-10 K
(I ski this loop in approximately 1.5 hrs depending on conditions)
Gold bar sets tracks for both skate skiing and classic.
Meet at 1:15, have your skis waxed and be ready to begin skiing at 1:30 p.m. We will meet in the amenity building. I will be wearing my EOC hat
After the ski we can go for a beverage if you wish.

Required Items to Bring:
Cross country skis
Dress for the temperature
Wax
Water
Dry clothes or at least a dry top
Money for beverage

Event Directions:

Head north along 50th Street (south side of the river). Turn right where you see the sign for Gold Bar Park (near water treatment plant). Watch for x-c sign.
