Itinerary:
Beginner cross-country ski class at Strathcona Wilderness Centre.

Please note the details of this event carefully:
- I originally tried to book a group lesson for us, but it didn't work out - Strathcona was booked solid and couldn't take us 'til January 31st
- This event is set up mainly for carpooling purposes and to enjoy some visiting with the "flail and ski" folks.
- To register for this event, you must first register for the adult ski class going from 1:00 til 3:00 on January 24th. See their web site at Strathcona Wilderness Centre for more information, and call them at 780-922-3939 to book your spot in the class. Once you've booked your spot in the class, if you want to attend with this group, send Rhonda an e-mail confirming that you've registered with Strathcona. She will then move you onto the event list.

Come out and learn some basic skills and start your journey to loving nordic skiing. Strathcona offers a great trail network, a fine clubhouse with flush facilities, and on-site equipment rentals.

After the lesson, we'll meet up for snacks and refreshments in the clubhouse with the "flail and ski" group.
