Itinerary:
Enjoy some dim sum at Edmonton's fine Chinese restaurant, Golden Rice Bowl. They are first-come-first-served on weekends and get very very busy so we have to get there early to be assured of getting in in a reasonable amount of time. Please meet at the restaurant between 10:00 and 10:15 to commence with the feast!

Dim sum is a communal under-taking. Once the 5% GST and 18% (minimum) gratuity are added onto our group bill, the bill will be split equally among all parties. If you are a very light eater and/or are uncomfortable with having the bill split equally, this isn't the event for you.

Dim sum is the name for a Chinese cuisine which involves a wide range of light dishes served alongside Chinese tea. Yum cha (literally "drinking tea") is the term used to describe the entire dining experience, especially in contemporary Cantonese. It is usually served in the mornings until noon time at Chinese restaurants and at specialty dim sum eateries where typical dishes are available throughout the day. Dishes come in small portions and may include meat, seafood, and vegetables, as well as desserts and fruit. The items are usually served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate.
