Write Up:
Nineteen people (and one dog)went out for a walk down by the river. It was a nice morning; just around freezing, but the sun was shining and the day was perfect for a bit of exercise. Ice floes were drifting down the river, reminding us that winter is just around the corner.

We hiked down the paved and gravel paths of the River Valley from Dawson Park to the Capilano pedestrian bridge, then came back on the south side. Total distance was only 8.8 km, but we accomplished it in under two hours.
