Write Up:
It was a beautiful sunny day and we had a lot of fun cleaning up the Mill Creek Ravine. We walked the section from 88th Ave to Connors Road and collected lots of stuff! The low water made it possible to dig out all sorts of things from the creek bed, the bank, and the pathways. In total, we figure we picked up about 750 lbs of garbage, including 4 tires, a bicycle, a garbage can, 2 shopping carts, 3 bed frames/mattresses, a pair of shoes, 3 pots and pans, and a football. Congratulations, everyone, on a job well done, and thanks for helping out!
