Write Up:
The Schild Estates wine tasting was lovely. We were given a glass of Riesling as we walked in, and it was very good, considering Australia is not known for it Rieslings. Vines had six more glasses arranged in front of every seat, and a booklet to write down what you thought of each wine's aroma, colour, flavour and finish. John Retsas gave us some background on the winery, which is family run, and gave us some hints on what to look for in each wine. We all seemed to prefer different wines, which is pretty typical. All in all, it was entertaining, educational and tasty!
