Write Up:
The weather was warm and sunny on Sunday morning, as a team of EOC members joined an army of volunteers who set out to clean up the river valley. Our group took on Government House Park (north side of the river, immediately west of Groat Rd.), where we removed cigarette butts, bottle caps and other assorted river. Thankfully, none of us found anything completely disturbing, although a bicycle and a single rollerblade were also removed during our clean-up.
